I've moved~!!

Nah not house...just me blog.

I am in a very happy place right now.

I just had the most amazing conversation with a very special someone. For anonymity's sake and to keep things "mysterious", I shall not name this person - you know who you are!!

Be it a text, a phone call or an email, just hearing from him puts a huge smile to my face; he never ceases to brighten up my day.

Darling, I feel so incredibly blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for always making me feel special. Love you heaps!! *muaKz*

I've just come back from the Black Eyed Peas concert with Patricia.

They were AWESOME.

Fantastic showmanship and a spectacular stage presence from them. Absolutely brilliant. And man can they move...Fergie really shook her boo-tay!!

The auditorium was packed as, it was almost full to bursting!! I've been to many concerts and huge events as this in my time, but this one definitely takes the award. We were seated on the balcony and looking down on the standing area...it was just a mass of heads, an ocean of people. Pretty freaky actually, seeing thousands of people crammed like sardines.

Anyway...

Work was really cruisey today. Fridays are normally busier than the average weekday, but today felt like a bloody Monday!! Not that I'm complaining, of course...I'm getting paid to stand around and do jackshit.

"I don't want you to go back to M'sia, I'm gonna miss having you around."

"Hey you, long time no see!!"

Two very simple lines but which made me feel all loved and important. It's a warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you know you've made enough of an impression on a person that they could miss you or think of you when you're not around.

Anyway it's been a long day and I've got work tomorrow so I'm gonna call it a night. Till my next post, keep on rocking guys...

You won't believe what happened today.

I totally didn't hear my alarm clock ring this morning and overslept till 1230pm!!

And I was meant to be at class at 12pm.

Eek!! Oops.

Now I don't really give a stuff about Web Media Production but today's class was kinda important coz we were gonna learn Flash for our final assignment.

Ah well.

Doesn't make much of a difference anyways coz it just goes in one ear and comes out the other...I'll still need Su-Yuen's help at the end.

But yeah.

I don't know what happened eh. Normally even if I do miss the alarm clock I'll get up just a little bit after that and have to rush a bit, but NEVER have I overslept till the afternoon!!

I'm turning out to have a longer weekend than everyone else so yay for that then!!

I had just about 4 hours of sleep the previous night because I was struggling to finish up my Journalism assignment which was due today.

Faith, Faith when will you ever stop procrastinating??!

Well although I'm not completely satisfied with the final product, I'm just extremely relieved that it's over and done with...such a weight off my shoulders!!

Now to get crackin' on my Media Communications assignment which is due in 2 weeks. Which is not a lot of time considering it consists of a 20 minute seminar plus accompanying 3000-word essay and is worth 50%. *eek!!*

I watched Wimbledon with Patricia and Su-Yuen today. It was better than I'd expected. Predictable, but entertaining nonetheless. I liked the camera angles and freeze shots that were used...genius.

I'm so glad it's Wednesday night and tomorrow I actually don't have to be up at bloody 6 in the morning!! Each week by this time, I'm just sooo knackered out I actually feel my body is worn out.

Right this moment, I'm looking forward to nothing more than curling up in bed, reading a bit of Harry Potter and then drifiting off into a slumber sleep knowing that I only need to be up at like, 930am...ahhhh *bliss*

As much as technology rocks, sadly it's man-made, therefore not perfect.

I just spent the last 1 1/2 hours playing around with my settings and configurations on my laptop because all of a sudden, I just couldn't go online!! I know...there's no such thing as online/offline with broadband. *rolls eyes* Yes, it stumped me too, believe me.

Well thankfully, miraculously, I eventually managed to figure it out and now it's all good. I can't help but feel a little proud at myself for fixing it coz normally (as most of you would prolly know) I'm pretty dim-witted when it comes to all this technical stuff.

First day back at uni was depressing. The weather was absolutely AWFUL. It was raining hard out, the wind was practically blowing me off the street, the sky was gray and I was freezing cold...urrgghhh

Oooh I watched Alien Vs. Predator with Su-Yuen today after class.

It wasn't as bad as the reviews said it was. I didn't enjoy it immensely nor did I hate it totally. It was just okay, I'd say. Bearable. Hardcore CGI, but very well done. *thumbs up*

The term kickstarting again means I've to be up at 6am on Tuedays and Wednesdays as before.

I really should be getting to bed soon if I don't intend on being a zombie tomorrow...

Technology rocks~!!!

After being out-of-touch for yonks and after incessant bugging/begging/pestering, Daddy FINALLY gave in and as of 5 minutes ago, I am now hooked on to the wonderful form of technology that is BROADBAND.

*does the happy victory dance*

OMG the speed is mind-blowing!! It's just been 5 minutes and I've already downloaded 5 MP3's that I'd been trying to download for the past 2 weeks using dial-up.

*tee hee*

I know I'm amusing a lot of you out there by my jakun-ness. Well pffttt to you!!

Anyhoo...

I'm pretty knackered out from work today eh.

I reckon it's also coz of daylight savings today, you know losing an hour and all. Well at least this time I remembered to turn my clock unlike the last time when I forgot and was nearly late for my shift!!

Anyway, get this - I was stationed at POS today.

(this was EXACTLY the looks on my colleagues' faces when they saw me on POS, I'm soooo serious!!)

I was originally supposed to be on floor *as usual*, but my supervisor Tina, asked if I wanted to swap with someone and be on POS for a change.

So yeah; it was all good. Good change of scene. And my sales balanced at the end of the shift too!! *proud* Not that rusty after all eh hehehe

Uni starts again tomorrow.

What a bummer.

*sigh*

I've got 1 news story, 1 3000-word essay and 1 20-minute seminar due within the next 2 weeks and I've done jackshit.

Soooo screwed.

Guess I'm gonna be paying the price for my absolute laziness and lack of doing anything productive throughout this break eh. *Bad Faith!!*

Oh well.

Somehow, someway...I'll get through it. I always do.

Aight, I'm gonna go enjoy the last few hours of freedom I have left...

*starts thinking of other songs to download off Kazaa*

I went to St. Lukes today with my parents for a spot of shopping. Ended up going mad and went on a hard out shopping spree.

And now, like any typical chick, I am pretty darn contented at the moment because I have...new clothes~!!

Faith is in a blissful happy place now...wheeeee

Just had a very long and enjoyable phone conversation with my dearest Samuel. It's been awhile eh, mate?! Man, I really miss you heaps and if anything, this has got me even more excited about my trip back!! 6 more weeks, can't wait!!

Okay before I proceed, just wanna say a huge special shout-out to a very special person - Sonia Zuzartee~!! Happy Happy Birthday Kitty!! Welcome to the club, how's it feel to be 21?! ekekekeke Hurry on up come back from Brisbane so we can celebrate!!

Anyways...

I am now sporting a VERY bad sunburn from my day out at Waiheke Island. My cheeks look like a 5-year old attempted to apply blush on them...and it stings too!! *ouch*

The day didn't turn out as we had planned unfortunately. We missed out on kayaking which was a mighty shame as I was really looking forward to giving it a go.

There really isn't helluva lot to do in Waiheke. Very quiet and tranquil - what do you expect from a secluded village on an isolated island eh?!

The view and scenery were incredibly amazing, though. Absolutely breathtaking. Maybe it comes with age, but I've come to really appreciate things like this. You just can't help but stand in awe at God's creation.

Although we didn't really do much, I had fun all the same. Had lunch at a cafe by the beach which was awesome...not something you get to do everyday, after all. We ordered a big bowl of fresh steamed mussels in sweet chilli/coconut milk sauce which was absolutely divine. After that we went to one of the many vineyards for a spot of wine tasting. Rose wine rocks!! Unbelievably we decided to eat some more and feeling a bit adventurous we ordered a plate of sausages which were made out of wild pork, venison and ostrich. Ermmm let's just say I'm gonna stick to ordinary chicken sausages from now on.

So yeah.

Our Waiheke trip turned into more of a pig-out fest than anything else. *burp*

Oh well...I had a grand time with Patricia and Su-Yuen (as I always do ) and that's what counts!!

Man, I hope my sunburn subsides by Friday. There's no way I'm gonna go to work looking the way I do right now!!

Before this, if anyone were to ask me what my fave chick flick was, I would have said She's All That. My absolute favorite, without a doubt.

I have found myself a good contender - A Cinderella Story.

When I first saw the trailer, I didn't think it any different from the other many chick flicks that I have seen. But today, watching it with Su-Yuen, Patricia and Nana, I have to say, I really really enjoyed it. As per the typical chick flick, by the end, you come out feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. The ball scene was just soooo romantic...and Chad Michael Murray is such a hottie!! *girlie scream*

Watched Princess Diaries 2 with Su-Yuen after that. It was just okay. I never really liked the first one, anyway. Only went coz Su-Yuen wanted to and anyway being a movie buff, I'd watch just about anything!!

Tomorrow Su-Yuen, Patricia and I are going to Waiheke Island~!! Can't wait, it's gonna be so much fun!!
